We are a trading arm of the registered charity Mental Health Care, our head office is in Sunderland and we have services in Newcastle, North Tyneside, Derwentside and Sunderland.
We provide cafes and catering services, gardening and maintenance services. Profits made directly support the charity which provides care and support services to adults and older people with mental health problems. Within our social enterprises we give volunteer training and supported placements to people who are disadvantaged, primarily with mental ill health.
As a charity Mental Health Care aims to be a premier provider of mental health service provision across the North East of England. Together with our trading arm ‘MHC Social Enterprises Ltd’ we hold the following values:
